| There is no sense in putting together a list of state parks and reserviors that already exists on the DNR's website and is listed in the fishing guides. Our goal here is to list some of the places that might not be listed and give our overall impressions of the places we have visited. We might end up doing that though, but right now there are too many other things that need to be done on the website. Turkey Run State Park is a must see in our opinion. The lodging there is excellent if you want to spend the night. If you just want to make the trip a one day affair, there is lots to see and do. The trails are excellent with tons of fantastic natural scenes. This is where I seen my very first pileated woodpecker.
