Tomato Beans
1 (16 oz.) can kidney
beans
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato
soup
1 (16 oz.) can stewed
tomatoes
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 green pepper
1/2 tsp. sweet basil,
oregano & season salt
Black pepper
1/3 c. elbow macaroni or
sm. shells
5 c. boiling water
Cook macaroni or shells in large saucepan in boiling water 15 minutes. While
still boiling, add tomato soup and stewed tomatoes. Simmer 10 minutes. In
skillet saute onion, green pepper, garlic, basil, oregano. Add to simmering
mixture, salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
