Rapala Lures
Outside of the classic lures and the top end hard to find lures with
a huge price tag, Rapala lures have about the biggest collecting fan
base around.  They may not command the prices of some of the
rarer lures of the world, but they do have quite a following of
collectors.  With Shallow Fat Raps fetching over 100 dollars, and
Salmon Specials extra hard to come by, there are some pricey
Rapala lures and some rare ones at that.

Some of the hardest Rapala lures to find are the ones that don't
really have a huge following or command huge prices.  Old floating
originals don't command that high of a price tag, so I imagine
people are reluctant to put them up for sale.
European and Asian colors tend to be more the norm these days.
Oddities like the Pearl Squid are hard to find in all the colors and
the sizes, but there isn't a lot of Rapala collectors searching for
these, so the price isn't that high.  Once a model type or color hits
and the demand drives the price up, the market gets saturated and
then the price levels out.

Hope you all enjoy the lures in these pages.  This is an
ever-growing collection that is always changing.  Almost on a daily
basis.
