Indiana Brown Trout Tips
These fish are very good deep battling fish.  They aren't as willing to
bite as the other trout, and the big ones are even harder to get into.  
You can catch them by fly fishing or by using spinners, spoons,
crankbaits, and natural baits.  Nightcrawlers and large roach minnows
will take the bigger brown trout.

The brown is more of a fish eater than the rainbow, but will also take
insects and crawdads.
